Hello crafters! Welcome to the Halloween Blog Hop. Don't go away you are in the right place. I just changed my blogger name, and my blog look. With the exciting things that will be coming shortly, it will all tie in together. The name goes perfectly with my Whimsical Wednesday Challenges. Thanks to Madeline for doing another amazing job. I just love you girl! Okay now onto the hop, you should have arrived here from the Whimsical Wednesday Blog. If you just stopped in to say hi hop on over there and start from the beginning. You won't want to miss any of the details, or the fabulous projects that the Whimsical Designers have created!
I made some super simple Halloween Home Decor Candles for my mantle. I love the way they came out! For this project it is as simple as picking out some fun patterned paper, wrapping it around the candle (I used double sided sticky tape to adhere the paper), and embellishing as much or as little as you want. For my patterned paper I used the new Recollections Midnight Magic Collection. The gooey punch is Martha Stewart, and the bat and pumpkins are EK Success. I used Shabby Crinkle Ribbon from the Prairie Bird Boutique for two of the candles. For the other one I just added some trim I had in my stash. Those fun stamps are from PSA Essentials. I had a lot of fun using them. I love the ease of switching different stamps, and inks to use with the stamper. Here are some close ups:
Now onto our fabulous sponsors for the blog hop, and what they donated for blog candy. In order to be eligible for the blog candy you must visit everyone in the hop and leave them a comment. Once you have finished swing back over to Whimsical Wednesday and leave a comment that you have finished.
1. Trendy Twine: http://trendytwine.bigcartel.com/ Original Sample Pack

/index.php?route=product/quickshopper Rest In Peace Stamp Set

The grand prize for the hop is from PSA Essentials. It is a stamp package valued at $75.00 and includes the stamper body piece, a peal and stick stamp set, one customized stamp and an orange/black inker.
Photos of all the fabulous prizes are on the WW blog.:)Thank you to all our sponsors for the great blog candy!
For my blog candy I am giving away the new Stampin' Up score board, and one 81/2X11 pack of cardstock (you chose the colors).
This scoreboard is awesome and has a lot of features and extras that others scoreboards don't have. It is a must have for any paper crafter. Just leave me a comment and become a follower of my blog to be put into the random drawing:) Thank you for stopping by and hopping along. I hope you have enjoyed your stop here and got some Halloween inspiration. Don't forget to check out my Halloween week. You still have time to leave comments.
