"Home For The Holidays" Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

All my stamps sets are NOW shipping. You can purchase them in my shop.

Hello Whimsical Crafters. Can you believe there is only 4 more days till Christmas? I can't! Still have lots to do. Today we thought we would give you some last minute Christmas Home Decor ideas. We are challenging you to create your own Christmas or New Year Home Decor.

My first project was lots of fun, and very quick to make. This year I bought a bunch of the Christmas picks, they were on clearance last month before Thanksgiving was even here. Here is a picture of all of them:
And here is just one project I made with them:

I put  Styrofoam balls inside the mug and stuck the pick in, and sat the little snowman on top. I used my "Snow Much Fun" set and stamped the "Free Snowman Hugs" on a tag cut from Winter Woodland. I attached some brads, then attached the little sign with twine. Super easy. I have some more projects ready to post for Friday using the same Christmas picks. For the next project I used a box from the Tim Holtz Configuration boxes and made an ornament.
All of the cuts are from the online Silhouette store. I embossed the stocking with a Sizzix Peppermint Twist & Scallops Set folder. Sabrina used this on a previous project and I LOVED it. I put a little Flowersoft, Tim Holtz White Picket Fence Crackle Paint, and Pearls with my Viva Pearl Pen on the Christmas Tree. For the present, I covered a tiny box in some paper from Graphic 45 and tied a bow around it. The sentiment "Trim The Tree" is from my "Snow Much Fun" Stamp Set. I tied a bow around the box and attached a hook on the top to hang from my Christmas tree.  There you have it, two fairly quick home decor projects:)

Here are the designers wonderful projects:

What awesome projects Stephanie! I love the coffee cup centerpiece with all the picks. The snowman looks fabulous holding that cute sign. The shadow box ornament is beautiful with the cute scene you created. Fabulous job!

Oh Stephanie, your projects are so beautiful. :o) The picks are gorgeous and look lovely in that festive mug. The sparkly brads and twine are such perfect accents! And of course the ornament you made is so whimsically beautiful... I love those sweet little embossed stockings hanging on the bright twine. You created such a sweet scene... the tree is fantastic (flower soft! *heart*) and the gift is so sweet tucked in the corner. The background is beautiful, too. And just look at those fabulous sentiments! :o) Incredible work once again, my super sweet friend! (And great job, DT!)

Hugs and blessings!

Noticed that #2 in your guidelines for this challenge indicates
2. You are only allowed to submit one project per challenge
and other Whimsical challenges have not stated that before. Just wanted to make sure.
Wonderful Home for the Holidays creations.

Your snowman decor is very fun--I like the idea of "free snowman hugs!" The box is darling. I like the idea of embossing the stockings--giving a 3D effect. I can picture 5 or 6 with differing scenes sitting in the mantel.
The DT's creations are so lovely. Some are crisp and refreshing and some have that "home sweet home" feel to them.
I came to you by way of Gigi. She posted her Rosette in a FB group called The SisterHood of Papercrafting. Gigi invited us to play along with the Whimsical Wednesdays challenge.
I will do that! I have viisited all of the DT's blogs and commented. I will also visit the other entrants. I think I have been to the candy cane pinwheels through other travels.
Thank you for the chance to play with you.

Thanks for sharing wonderful creations. My Christmas Tree does not have a pointed top but I'm happy with the way it turned out for a 1st try and will definitely make another. Happy New Year!
