Hello whimsical crafters. Hope you all had a great weekend. Is everyone almost done with their Christmas shopping? I have not even started yet. Me and the hubby will be rushing around at the last minute. Last year it was Christmas morning and I was still wrapping presents. I hope it won't be that last minute this year. It is time for another "Scraptastic Monday" challenge with Cindy:) This week we had to make a winter/Christmas themed card/project, and we had to include a snowflake OR a snowman. I made a criss cross pocket card and used Cindy's adorable digital image called cute snowman couple..the name sure is fitting!
So cute! You can find this digi, and many more over at Cindy's Shop. I used my Nesties Lacey Circle die to cut out the snow couple. They are colored with my Prisma colored pencils. For the white of the snowman I used my Creative Inspiration Paints-Winter Frost (love these paints), for the poinsettia and the candy cane-I used Garnet. I added some flock to the the rim of the hat and the cuffs of the sleeves on the Misses:). I ran out of my white liquid applique so I used some chunky white glitter for the snow. I added an eyelet and some twine to the insert card. That sentiment is from one of my new stamp sets called "Snow Much Fun". Here is a close up.
You can find "Snow Much Fun" and the other three sets in my release here at my shop.
This week I am sponsoring Cindy's Challenge, and one random winner will get the "Snow Much Fun" stamp set.
Want to see the rest of the sentiments? Head on over to the Whimsical Shop.
Cindy also has another prize she is giving away but to find out what it is you are going to have to hop on over to her fantastic blog. All of the projects from the super talented Scraptastic design team is over there too, you won't want to miss them:)
Before I sign off I want to thank you all for your support with my new release of the Whimsical Design Stamps. I will announce the winner of the grand prize on Wednesday with our new challenge. :)
Thank you for stopping in. Have a great day!
This is also being entered in The Queens Royal Digi Challenge #3

This is adorable Stephanie! I really need to try that technique - have never made a criss-cross card before. This sentiment is one of my favorites from the Snow Much Fun set :) I am going to try to enter this week. I am making a lot of my Christmas presents, but I seem always to be out on Christmas Eve still shopping. I have not finished 1 gift yet although I have a couple in various stages. I have no idea what to get my hubby :0 Have a great week!
