Hello crafters. Today is Wednesday and that means time for another Whimsical Wednesday Challenge. This week we are doing an anything goes challenge.
That cute little ghost is one of Cindy's new Halloween Digital stamps. I colored him with my Prisma Colored Pencils, and for the white part I used Fairy Dust Creative Inspiration Paint. I added some chalk to his cheeks and eyes and adhered him with an action wobble. I tried to get him in motion here:
All of the Whimsical Designers will be working with Patsy's Shabby Crinkle Ribbon, from Prairie Bird Boutique. I used the white from the Halloween Bundle. I added some bling from my stash. All of the papers are from last year's K&Company's Halloween stack.
This week we have two sponsors. The first is Patsy from The Prairie Bird Boutique. One random winner will get to pick out their own bundle of Shabby Crinkle Ribbon. The second sponsors is Cindy, also one of the Whimsical Wednesday Designers from Cindy's Little Creations. One random winner will get three of her digital stamps. Thanks to both our wonderful sponsors this week.
Don't forget next week is my Halloween Party. There will be Halloween inspiration every day and prizes. On Friday night, October 7, is the Whimsical Wednesday Halloween Blog Hop. We have a variety of fun Halloween projects planned, and of course blog candy.
Be sure to hop on over to the Whimsical Wednesday Blog,
to see what the rest of the fabulous team has come up for you.

"Fall Colors"
Hello and welcome to Whimsical Wednesday Challenge #24. Fall is just around the corner, this Friday to be exact and we are celebrating with a Fall challenge. This week the designers created a card/project inspired by fall colors, and for a little extra fun we all created a hand made embellishment: Here is what I came up with:
I created the round shaped card using the Wild Card Cartridge in my gypsy. The scarecrow is from Simply Charmed, and I used PK-692 Monster Mash Face Assortment to stamp the face. I used my white gel pen to add some doodling. The little basket is from Doodle Charms, I painted the darker areas using Chocolate Creative Inspiration Paints, and added some brads. The pumpkin is from Gypsy Wanderings, the apple is from Create A Critter, and the squash is from Freshly Picked. I used my Perfect Pearls on all the fruit/vegetables to add a little shimmer and shine. I added some raffia and my handmade leaves, and stamped my Sentiment (Happy Fall Y'all) from Simply Everything by Pink By Design. Here is a close up of my Hand Made Embellishments.
I will have a video during my Halloween Week to show you how I made these. Sorry the pick is so blurry.
This week our sponsor is Creative Inspirations. Creative inspirations sells the most beautiful paints for crafting. One random winner will get to chose five of their paints. The colors are gorgeous, and I am slowly getting them all. I love working with them, and the possibilities are endless.
I had technical difficulties from my post on Saturday. For some reason none of my comments would publish. I switched over to the new blogger interface and I think that has something to do with it. So I went back to the old dashboard, and I hope that fixes it. If you missed the post I had announced that I am having a Halloween party on my blog starting on October 3-7. There will be a fun Halloween project, and a prize each day.
Cindy drew and colored that gorgeous badge for me. So so cute:) Chloe did the word art for me. I love those gals..thank you for your help. If you pick up my Halloween badge and place it on your blog come back here and leave me a comment and you will be entered into a random drawing for a $25.00 gift certificate for Stampin' Up. If you blog about it leave me a second comment for two chances to win. That night is our Whimsical Wednesday blog hop. There will be lots of great projects from each of our designers, lots of fun prizes, and blog candy along the way. The grand prize is super fun..so stay tuned to find out what it is:)
That is it for me today. Please head on over to the Whimsical Wednesday Blog to see what the AWESOME design team created for the "Fall Colors" challenge. There is also an extra prize over there this week;) Thank you for stopping by..enjoy the rest of your week.

"Wizards Brew"
Hello Crafty Friends. Fall is in the air here in NY. The temperatures have finally dropped, I am wearing a cozy warm sweatshirt today, yippee. It was way too hot here this summer and barely went outside. So we are all looking forward to the cooler weather, and lots of fun fall outdoor fun. I am so excited to share my card with you today. The digital stamp I used was designed by my dear friend Cindy from Cindy's Little Creations. I was so nervous while I was working on it because I wanted to be sure to I did it the justice it deserves:
Is that little wizard not the cutest? I used my prisma colored pencils to color her in. Added some stickles and glossy accents to the "Wizards Brew" and tied a little bow around the broom using orange licorice bakers twine. You find some over at My Craft Spot. It also comes in lots of other yummy colors. This is my favorite twine..I have used other and this is the best twin by far. You can also see that I threaded a little through the button. That brings me to that gorgeous ribbon. That is from Patsy's new Halloween Bundle called "Little Boo". I cute the scallop frame for the Elegant Edges cartridge and glittered it with DoodleBug Sugar Coating Glitter, then I put purple and green bling all around the edges. The sentiment is computer generated. All of the solid card stock is from Stampin' Up and all of the edges were distressed with Concord Crush Stampin' Up Classic Ink. The patterned cardstock is from last years K&Company Halloween stack. Here is a close up of Cindy's cute digi:
I had so much fun coloring her. I just realized I did not chalk up her cheeks..damnits!!! Oh well I will go back and do it. Cindy has some exciting things coming!
I said Wednesday that I had a little fun announcement to make. Well, I love Halloween so much that I could not let this year go by without celebrating it bloggy style. So I decided to have a Halloween Party Week here on my blog. It will start on Monday October 3 and go till Friday October 7. That will bring us right into the night of the Whimsical Wednesday
(we have two fun challenges going on right now so be sure to head on over) Halloween Blog Hop. I will have a fun project every day with a give away. I already have some fun sponsors lined up:)
Can you guess who made that super cute badge for me?? Yup Cindy designed and colored it for me and my sweet friend Chloe did her photoshop magic and got all the info in there for me. So let's get the party started if you pick up my Halloween Party Badge and put it on your side bar (link it to my blog address) and come back and tell me about it you will be entered into a drawing for a $25.00 Stampin Up Gift Certificate.
If you add my badge to your blog and do a blog post come back and leave me two comments and you will be entered into the drawing twice. All winners for this and the Halloween party will be announced right here on my blog on October 12, along with a big announcement.
Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great weekend.

"Just Because" Challenge 23
Good morning my crafty friends, hope you are having a great week. It will be the weekend before we know it. It is time for another Whimsical Wednesday Challenge, and this week we are creating cards/projects to give or send to someone "Just Because". No special reason or holiday. It can be just to say hi, to let them know we appreciate them, and thinking about them. I think you get the point. This week Whimsical Wednesday has teamed up with Bugaboo Stamps. They allowed us to each pick a stamp for us to create with. Here is what I came up with:
That cute little girl is named Desiree and she is from the Bugaboo Brats collection. This card is from Emily to her Dad just to let him know she loves him!:) I managed to use ALL scraps on this card. I used my Prisma Colored Pencils to color my image. I use Tim Hotz Distress ink to ink up the edges of the image, and Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip for the rest of the distressing. I used my liquid applique to apply the little blue dots. The sentiment is computer generated.
This week our sponsor is Bugaboo Stamps. They are such a generous company and will be giving one random winner who enters this weeks challenge seven digital stamps from their store. Be sure to head on over to the "Catch The Bug" blog to learn more about them! Thank you Bugaboo for your generosity!
To see what the umber talented DT has created for your inspiration hop on over to the Whimsical Wednesday Blog. The "Scrapping School Memories" challenge is still opened and you still have one more week to enter. So now there is two current challenges opened to keep you busy. This is also the last week for you to enter in the round of four challenges for the Stampin' Up prize:) Next week we starts off the first of four.
Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to check back in Friday I have a little announcement to make. :)

"Scrapping School Memories"
Good morning crafty friends. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day Weekend. I am really looking forward to the cool fall weather! Today is the first Wednesday of the month and that means the Whimsical DT is scrapbooking. This week we are scrapping school memories, with a twist to use a chipboard element on our LO's. Here is what I came up with:
This will be a future LO for when my three year old starts Pre-School. This needs to be very SOON or I think the men in the white jackets may come and take me away. Anyway, this week Regina from the Cutting Cafe donated two cut file packages for us to work with, School Days, and School Years. I chose to use the apples from the School Years printable stamp set. I cut them out on red cardstock and then painted the stem with my Creative Paints, and put some Stickles on the leaf. To make them nice and shiny I added some Glossy Accents. All of the other cuts, with the exception of the tree and the title, are from Create A Critter. The tree, all the leaves, and the title are from the Silhouette Store. I cut the leaves out in two different colors and distressed them with Chocolate Chip SU ink. When I layered them I did not layer them directly on top of each other, instead I scattered them a little bit to give them a cool shadow effect. I added Tim Holtz Clear Rock Candy to them so they would have a bit of a crinkled up look. Hint..when applying this stuff dab, don't paint it on. I found that out too late so only a few of my leaves have the effect I was looking for. I embossed the pumpkins with the Distressed Stripes Tim Holtz Folder, and added Perfect Pearls to all of them. For my chip board element I used a Tim Holtz On The Edge Die called Brackets. Here is a photo:
I cut it out twice once in chipboard and then once in the yellow cardstock then I glued the cardstock onto the chipboard. This will be the journaling spot. The little face on the squirrel is from the Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Face Assortment. All of the patterned paper is from the DCWV Amber Autumn Stack.
This week our sponsor is Regina from the Cutting Cafe. Regina is going to give one random winner who enters the challenge this week, three cut files of their choice. She has such a fun variety of printable stamps and cut files in her store. In addition, there is a bunch of videos and tutorials to help get you started. Thank you Regina for your sponsorship, and generously giving us your cut files to work with this week. :)

"Live Out Loud"
Hello crafty friends. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday weekend. I had some time to get a bit of crafting in this weekend. I made a card for a blogger friends sister, that is going through a very difficult time, and has lost hope. She loves the color purple, guitars, and music. So I dusted off my cricut and pulled out my Rock Princess Cart. Here is what I came up with:
I wanted this to be a really fun upbeat card. So I went with bold colors, and a super cool rocker girl. I could not resist giving her purple hair, and some twine bows for her pigtails. I stamped her face using Peachy Keen Laughy Taffy Face Assortment. I used my Stampin' Up chalks to add color to her facial features. The paper is from a pack called "Girls Live To Rock" by the Paper Studio. I designed the sentiment on my computer to fit perfectly on my Postage Stamp Stampin' Up punch. I did a lot of inking, added some doodling, and bling to finish it up. I hope this card reminds her to keep going, and to just have fun no matter what.
Before I go, just a reminder that you have until midnight on Wednesday to enter the "Inspiring Words" challenge over at Whimsical Wednesdays. We have some great blog candy up for grabs for those who enter. Can't wait to see you back here on Wednesday for a brand new Scrapbooking challenge.
If you are interested in any Stampin' Up products you can visit my online store by clicking the shop tab on the top of my blog. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
As always, thanks for stopping by:)
