"Colors Of Love" Whimsical Wednesday Challenge

This past week ..with the help of my hubby, I re-designed my entire craft room. I love the way it came out, but while we were re-doing everything I had no access to any of my machines, or most of my crafty items. Everything was boxed up..there for, no bloggy post! We finished it on Monday night, and got everything back in it's home. I still have a few additions I want to make but for the most part it is done. If any of you have any copic marker storage solutions I would love for you to leave me a comment about them.;) It would also be fun if you all left a comment and told me about your favorite storage solution that you have in your craft room! Now for this week's challenge, #42, we created a card/project with the colors red, white, and one other color of your choice.

I chose grey for my third color. I created this V-day card for my little one. She loves elephants, and I thought this SVG file, Funny Valentine, from The Digi Bistro, was perfect. I used a shape from Accent Essentials for the card base. The patterned paper is from the Martha Stewart, Key and Heart, Valentine mat pad from last year, all other paper is scraps. Emily is all about the bling so I glittered around the edge of the card, added some blingy gems, and then sprayed over the entire card with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist-Marshmallow.  I used some shabby crinkle ribbon from the Prairie Bird Boutique and twine from Timeless Twine  to tie the sentiment to the elephant's trunk. The sentiment I used is from the Whimisical Designs, "With Love" stamp set.  Available for purchase here.
